From the first sketch to the final stitch, each piece passes through a considered process so it feels good the day you receive it – and better years from now.
Selecting hides
We start with leather that shows natural character – not plastic-like coatings that hide every mark.
Pattern & cut
Each pattern is laid by hand to respect the grain and minimise waste, then cut to keep panels clean and strong.
Stitch & build
Panels, pockets and straps are stitched with durable thread, reinforced where bags carry the most weight.
Finish & pack
Edges are burnished, hardware checked, and every piece is packed so it arrives ready to use – not crumpled.
Care, repairs & gifting
Leather should be lived in, not kept “for best”. We design Fanlu pieces so they can handle real life – and we’re happy to help keep them in shape as the years go by.

Simple care
A light clean with a soft cloth and occasional conditioning is usually
all your leather needs. Avoid soaking, harsh chemicals, and long hours
in direct sunlight.
Repairs
We offer repair support for stitching, hardware and straps on Fanlu
products, because throwing away a good bag over a small fault doesn’t
sit right with us.
Gifting
Many of our pieces are chosen as milestone gifts – graduations,
promotions, new roles and anniversaries. Packaged thoughtfully and
